Not intended for sleepwear?

You will notice that many of our garments have a legend in the label that reads: “Not intended for sleepwear”. In order to be sold as sleepwear in the US a garment must be either: i) made of flame resistant fibers; ii) be treated with flame retardant chemicals; or iii) be snug fitting. babycottons footies and two pieces are made with pima cotton for only the softest comfort. We do not use flame retardant chemicals or fabrics, and therefore our products are not intended to be used as sleepwear.
