Not a Search Engine – What are the differences between search engines/directories and MTC Libraries?

0

You are probably aware that Internet search engines such as Yahoo, MSN and Excite index less than 20% of the web. However, you may not know that they many of them now charge money to be included in their search indices. This means that their services are becoming more advertising and yellow page directory focused and less useful for users seeking real content and relevant information. Other search engines, such as Google, use robots and algorithms to determine what to and where to link. We use experts to focus on each of the six MTC Libraries topics: The Business Library, The HR Library, rmLibrary (The Risk Management Internet Services Library), The Safety Library The Healthcare Library, and The Transportation Library.
