Your Norton account stores the product key and the billing information of your product. In addition, Norton Account helps you to do the following: Reinstall your Norton product. Download latest versions of the product. Buy additional product keys for your home or office. Manage your online backup. To create a Norton Account, your computer must be connected to the Internet. You can also create a Norton Account while you activate your product. Symantec products that are older than the 2006 product year do not appear in your Norton Account. To create a Norton Account In the Norton 360 main window, click My Account. In the My Account window, click Access Norton Account. In the Welcome to Norton Account Web page, click Create your account now. On the Create Account Web page, provide the details about your Norton Account, and then click Submit. You can also create a Norton Account while you activate your product.
Go to Symantec on the web which is the true Norton manufacturer and click on customer support. Your name and email address should be registered and should allow you to initiate another down load of the product to be saved on your desktop. There are listings on the web under Norton which are in fact not the true Symantec supplier, and you can run into problems going to any other. Hope that helps you Me!
Norton would have sent you a e-mail confirming the purchase and download along with the key code, look up the e-mail. If you purchased it by credit card send them a copy of the receipt. Contact Norton customer service and ask how to correct the registration and any problems your having. I always by the boxed version and register it at time I install the new version that way if I have a problem then I have the key code, CD, and the registration info.
