It appears that you are in India, and I don’t know the rights of woman in the eyes of the law there. I suspect you have no legal recourse from what I have heard. Others have answered your question correctly for the way it is in North America but I don’t think that will solve your problem in India. My suggestion is as follows: You need to sit him down and tell him that, he would enjoy sex more if you were awake to respond in a manner that you are unable to when sleeping. It sounds like your husband enjoys his ability to dominate you instead of the actual act of making love. There is a big difference between having sex and making love, tell him you would like to share the enjoyment of making love instead of just having sex. Then when he agrees, try to make him prefer that to his being so force-full and controlling. If he doesn’t agree then just try to stay awake longer then him to see how he reacts to you taking away his weapon over you. Good Luck!
