No one can connect to my UOAM server. Whats wrong?
If you are trying to configure a UOAM server from behind a router, you will probably want to read this. In some cases, if your computer has more than one IP address, it is possible that UOAM will display the wrong one. As a convenience, UOAM attempts to display your machine’s IP address for you so you will know which address clients should use when connecting to your computer. The server does not actually do anything with this address. It only displays it for convenience sake. Your UOAM server is actually listening on all your IP Addresses at once. In fact, if your computer has a DNS name, clients don’t even need to use the IP address at all, the IP window in the connection dialog will accept DNS names as well. If clients are having difficulty connecting to your server, then go to a DOS prompt and run “ipconfig”. This will give you a list of all the IP addresses for your computer.
