Nissan XTerra… why is my check engine soon light on?
This morning while going to work, a little circle light came on in my nissan xterra. It had like a little exclamation mark in it kind of like (!) with zigzags on the bottom of the exclamation mark. Then on my way home from work, that light is still on AND my Check Engine Soon light came on.. that made me worried. I checked everything… the gas cap is on tight, it doesn’t need an oil change, I’ve had no problems with the car until now, but it’s still new so the engine light worries me… what could it be? I can’t find the book to check what the exclamation light was… i looked through the whole car. I’m taking it to the dealer tomorrow, but i was hoping someone could give me an idea of what might be wrong. A: (!) mark is check your instruments, In this case it means to get the check engine light looked at. I am willing to bet you need a fuel tank sending unit because the trouble code will be that of a fuel level sensor malfunction. This should be covered by WARRANTY. If your fuel tank
