Told it might be a neutral safety switch. I can do small things with cars such as change plugs, change oil, etc. I am lost when it comes to anything electrical. I don’t know even how to locate the switches or relays. Would appreciate any help in lay language. Thanks alot. A: whether it is stick or automatic the switch is on the side of the transaxle. On an automatic it is called an inhibitor switch. What is the car doing? Does it crank? If you can try to start it in neutral and see what happens. I would try to narrow the problem down more before trying to replace that switch.
