I press the cruise control switch on and it turns on the light in the button. When I set control , the cruise light just flashes. It doesn’t set the speed or anything. The only way it stops flashes is if I press the cruise control switch off. A: The flashing light is telling you there is a problem with the cruise control and it cannot set the speed. There are several safety inputs on a cruise control system and if any one of them is bad the system won’t work. I would have a shop check it out.
