The thresholds for businesses required to register and report has recently been lowered. Currently a Corporation that produces or emits 87.5kt of CO2e, or consumes (or produces) 350Tj of energy. The threshold for facilities is unchanged – 25kt of CO2e emissions or 100Tj of energy produced or consumed. If you are unsure of your registration or reporting obligations then you need to visit www.dlimatechange.gov.au for further information.
