I would think your chances are pretty slim. Its been tough enough for me to get 2 stand-by seats much less 6 on the same flight. I would ask your daughter to keep an eye on the particular flight you are looking to take and see if it frequently flies with empty seats. If not, then I wouldn’t risk it, personally. It looks like there is only one flight a day on Continental between the two cities, so if only a few of you get on the flight stand-by, then the others would have to wait an entire day to try for the next flight….
