New Food Processor – What to make!?

0

Hi: I have a small 6 cup one of these and have to say that a Chef’s knife and cutting board, along with a nice quality blender will get you the same prep results for most recipes and they aren’t as hard to clean. The only thing I ever made in my processor was cole slaw. You use the shredder head that comes with your processor. Cut cabbage head into chunks to fit into the feeder tube, and shred. Peel and cut carrot pieces to a length that will fit into the feeder tube and shred. You can also add raw peeled and seeded cucumber, raw peeled and seeded summer squash, raw peeled and trimmed fresh broccoli stems. Place all into a bowl and add your favorite coleslaw dressing or if you want a French Canadian twist to it, use a good oil and vinegar dressing with fresh herbs and fresh ground pepper.
