Never mind America! Are we here in England ready for a black Prime Minister?
I think that we would have a black Prime Minister, if there were any major black MPs in parliament, but there aren’t that many anyway, let alone any brilliant ones. We just don’t have a black MP good enough to be leader at the moment. Maybe after the next lot of elections we will have? Who knows. We need to encourage more women and black people to get involved in politics first, though. I think a lot of the people in the UK would vote on policy, not colour (unlike quite a few Americans, who are still, in my opinion, far to backwards to let a anyone but a white, christian male in as the president).
