(Posted by: harley on 2008-05-15 09:55:39) I’m 33 years old. Over the past 4 years, my weight has gone from 120 to 170+. I eat very healthy so I attributed the weight gain to working out less. I also have asthma and allergies. In 2007, I was told my thyroid was enlarged but nothing was done. In 2008, finally got sick of the weight gain and started seeing a personal trainer in January. I see her 3 times a week plus attend two cardio classes on my off days. I burn between 300 to 600 calories while working out 5 days a week. My daily caloric intake is between 1200 – 1500 calories. I weighed 171 in January, I now weigh 172. In March, I started feeling really sluggish and tired all of the time. Friends/ Family noticed I was clearing my throat a lot. I started having these episodes at night where I would wake up and gasp for air and use my inhaler. My fiancé said it sounded like I was suffocating sometimes.
