  You as the parent should first do some research online and also read some of the good hobby books such as “The Tarantula Keepers Guide” by Schultz & Schultz. You can then pass on this information to your children and let them continue doing their own research and reading. Getting involved with a local tarantula enthusiasts group is also a good way to get information and meet other people with a similar interest.
