For Direct/Stafford Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans you will go into repayment 6 months after graduation or dropping below 6 credits hours. For Perkins/Nursing Loans you will go into repayment 9 months after graduation or dropping below 6 credits hour s. If you have a Nursing Loan and are no longer a Nursing student you will begin immediate repayment of the Nursing Loan. For parent PLUS loans your parents begin repayment 60 days after the final disbursement of the loan. For alternative loans outside the Federal Government, you need to check with your lender.
