Nautilarm V2. Why is the Beam Break sensor not included in the standard V2 kit?

The Nautilarm V2 is a fantastic alarm system and is a good solution for canal boats, river boats and in less demanding weatherproof installations. The Nautilarm Xtreme family (including the Nautilarm Xtreme Beam Break Sensor)has been designed to work in the more extreme marine environments found in high speed craft, on the coast and at sea and in more open boats. Therefore it is likely that if you need an Xtreme Beam Break Sensor the Xtreme control box would be better suited to your requirements. In addition we have developed the software and control in the Nautilarm Xtreme control boxes to easily facilitate setting up and maintaining the Beam Break Sensors. Having said that if you do require attaching an Xtreme Beam Break Sensor to an existing V2 or you have specific requirements that would be better accommodated with a Beam Break Sensor then these sensors will work with a Nautilarm V2. We would recommend a later version of the V2 dated after September, 2008.
