NASW Sections what are they?

NASW developed member-driven, member supported Sections to serve the specialty practice interests of its members. Sections are a sub-membership of NASW addressing specific social work professional practice areas. NASW members who work in or have an interest in school social work, aging, private practice and alcohol tobacco and other drugs (ATOD) through the Sections have the opportunity to build supportive networks, expand their knowledge base through practice focus resources and take advantage of special offers only for NASW Section members.
