There are no taxes in the Bahamas. So you don’t have to worry about that : ) I think $800 sounds right. Just have your credit card handy if you run out of cash (restaurants take credit cards. so if you think you’ll need it, spend $ on everything else and when you go to eat pay with your credit card). grocery will probably be more expensive or as expensive (with the tax) from where you’re from because we have to import EVERYTHING, so the import fee is in the price of the product.
