MyGains downloads transactions from some of the brokerages that support such downloads. How far back can data be downloaded automatically from the brokerages?
The number of days MyGains will go back to download the transactions varies from brokerage to brokerage and depends upon what each brokerage supports. Usually it ranges from 30 days to 90 days. Therefore, to capture all the historical trades, you will need to use MyGain’s import function. The function allows you to import .csv files generated from your brokerage firms into MyGains. Usually you can download years of trade history using this function. Again, the exact length of time you will be able to download depends on your brokerage firms, but most support at least two years of data.
