My wardrobe door has come off, pulling out the screws. How do I put it back on?
Break up a toothpick and pack the pieces into the enlarged holes, 2 or 3 pieces should do it and make sure you break them off flush to the surface. If the holes look extra large, add a couple more pieces. Now you can put everything back. If you use the wood putty, you will need to drill a tiny hole in the middle to put the screws back and the putty must be completely dry. Good luck ! ! !
You can put rawl plugs in to fill the gap then screw the door back into place. Check the sizes first and then ask at your local DIY store for suitable products to use. Do not be put off from fixing it yourself most jobs can be done if you just take a little time. Get someone to help support the door while you do the job.
