my veiled chameleon seems to have reperatory problems. is there anything i can give him to get it back to health?
If your chameleon is ill, you will need to have it examined by a qualified vet as soon as possible. I would not recommend any home remedies or treatment due to the fact that chameleons are very good at hiding their illnesses until they are almost fatal, thus leaving the owner with very little time to have it examed, run tests and treat the diagnosed illnesses properly. Also remember that there is usually a cause to all illnesses which we can prevent from happening in the future. Your vet will discuss the cause of the chameleons illness, if not, please ask him this, and if he feels there is any way you can prevent this from happening in the future.
