My vehicle has the old R12 A/C refrigerant will I need to convert it to the new R134 refrigerant?

No. When R12 went out of production it was widely believed that R12 would no longer be available. But for whatever reason, it still is. We recommend staying with the R12 on vehicles that were designed for it even though it is much more expensive than R134.
