My values at MotionBased and Garmin Connect don match. What happened?

Garmin Connect was built to better match the data from Garmin devices. As a result we are trying to best match the raw data produced by the device. In some cases we are using a different algorithm where calculations are being made. Even though the values won’t match between both sites, the spirit of Garmin Connect is to best match the device.
