My turtle has swollen eyes-tight shut, how do i cure him?
I am assuming your aquatic turtles are red eared sliders because the problem sounds very much like one of the problems that happens so often with red eared sliders. I have had this problem with my red eared sliders before. The turtles need special lighting called UVB/UVA they need this light 12 hours. You need to start giving your turtle higher doses of minerals and vitamins regular turtle food does’nt have enough vitamins and minerals in it to sustain them in a glass aqaurium with no natural sunlight. Do not put your tank in a window because you could over heat the turtles and they could die very quickly.
