My travel abroad is for an independent project or service/internship work. Can I apply for an HIEP scholarship?
Yes. As long as your trip abroad is for an educational purpose and a faculty member supports your reason for travel, you should apply for the HIEP scholarship. • I already received the HIEP Scholarship in a prior semester. Can I apply for it again? No. Students who have previously received the HIEP Scholarship are not eligible to receive another one. All HIEP scholarships are one-time-only. EXCEPTIONS: Funding currently allows you to apply for the HIEP Scholarship a second time if: • if you were in the Kelley School of Business BUS G-256 Emerging Economies class. • if you were in the Kelley School of Business BUS P-255 Business in a Flat World class.
