My Times iPad app occasionally hangs when I try to download the daily edition. What can I do to stop this?
Some customers have reported problems when downloading their daily edition of the newspaper via the Times iPad app. We have identified the source of the problem and are working to resolve it. In the meantime, taking the following action may help: – If you are trying to download while you’re on the move (for example, on a train), moving between 3G and WiFi zones, this may cause the download to corrupt and the app to appear to freeze – If you have been using the iPad for tasks that employ a lot of memory just prior to downloading your daily edition, you may find that the app appears to freeze – For each of these scenarios, please reboot your iPad and try to download the daily edition again: this should fix the problem.
