Blackboard expects PC style file-type extensions in order to process documents correctly. For Mac users this takes some getting use to since the Mac operating system does not automatically add an extension to files when they are save. If you are transferring only from a Mac to a Mac there is no problem but for PC users it causes a problem since the computer will be unable to determine the file typ. The solution is to get into the habit of adding the three character file type extension to your Mac file names. This will allow PC users to easily read and manipulate the files.
