Students who work only on their own computers can install their progress files on their hard disks. Students who move among computers can carry ActivStats with them. Each student can have his or her own ActivStats DVD and a floppy disk on which to record individual progress, homework files, datasets, etc. Armed with these two disks a student can sit at any appropriately equipped computer and pick up where he or she left off.
