My StreetPilot 2720/2730/2820/7200/7500 is supposed to speak street names when giving voice prompts but it doesn . How can I fix this?
A. All of the Garmin automotive GPS units that speak street names are also loaded with basic voice prompts. If one of these types of voice prompts has been selected, the voice prompts will not speak street names. In order to change this setting on the StreetPilot 2720/2730/2820/7200/7500, please follow these steps: • In the Main Menu, tap the “Settings” icon. • Tap on “General” • Tap on “Language” • Tap on “Voice Language” • Select a voice that is labeled with (TTS) at the end. These voices will speak street names. • Select “OK” to verify the voice language change. • Unit will restart and the unit should speak street names.
