My statement has a line that says, “Monthly Processing Fee …” What is that?

A $2.50 processing fee per card is deducted from Cash Rewards paid every month as follows: (i) for credit card accounts, the $2.50 per month fee is applicable to the account, regardless of the number of credit cards issued or used to earn Cash Rewards; (ii) for debit card accounts, the $2.50 per month fee is applicable to each card issued for which Cash Rewards are paid during the month. For example, if a joint account has two debit cards, and Cash Rewards are paid during a month with respect to each of the cards, the total processing fee charged to the account would be $5.00. It’s that amount you’re seeing itemized on your statement. The processing fee is assessed based on the date the transaction is posted by the merchant’s credit/debit card processor, not the date transaction was made. Neither we nor the Program Administrator have control over when a merchant pays the Cash Reward. Note: Processing fees are ONLY deducted from paid cash rewards.
