My SpyStopper Pro stopped working and my counter stays at zero or still. What can I do?
It is likely that some files have been corrupted. You need to reinstall SpyStopper Pro. Try the following: 1. Uninstall SpyStopper Pro. Close down SpyStopper Pro first (click on Exit on the main window of SpyStopper Pro). Then run the SpyStopper Pro uninstaller (Do NOT use Control Panel to uninstall it). 2. Make sure the folder, c:\program files\SpyStopper Pro, has been removed. 3. Download the SpyStopper Pro trial version. 4. Install SpyStopper Pro. 5. Run your license file if necessary. If the above does not solve your problem, try the following: Close down SpyStopper Pro (Bring up the main window of SpyStopper Pro. Click on Exit) first. If you are using Windows 98/Me, rename the file called hosts to hosts-back in the c:\windows directory. Restart SpyStopper Pro. If you are using Windows 2000/XP, rename the file called hosts to hosts-back in the c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ directory. Restart SpyStopper Pro.
