My son is 10 and racist! Why should he be tought the muslim religion how to talk how to dress what to read?
I’d be interested to learn about the muslim religion. I know there is more to it than burkas and suicide bombers. It would be good for us all to know a bit more. It might be fun to know the odd word too. It will make it easier to pick up other languages if he learns the principles. Anyway, he’s only 10. It’s not as if he has to take an exam in it. No one is questioning that they should be able speak English. He is not learning their language so that they don’t have to learn English. That is a futile point to make and makes you look stupid and ignorant.
