I THINK THE INFECTION WILL GO AWAY QUICKER WITH ANTIBIOTICS DON’T MAKE YOUR SON SUFFER WITH AN EAR INFECTION ITS REALLY HURTING HIM I SUPPOSE

It is an infection and I believe you should give him an antibiotic. especially since he has had several ear infections and is only 8 months old. Ear infections can lead to hearing problems if they are not treated correctly. The reason he may be getting ear infection after ear infection is because the infection was never cleared up in the first place.

I would advise on getting your baby on medication for his ear infection, a lot could happen if you dont …. to many ear infections cause scar tissue to form in the ear which in turn could cause hearing loss….. toooo much pressure in the ear could cause ear drum rupture which could also cause hearing loss… TRUST ME I AM ONE WHO HAS THIS PROBLEM i have a hearing loss in both ears due to ear infections that were not treated.

I gave Noah the antibiotics and they tore up his rear end and stomach. Poor little guy had the worst diaper rash and diarrhea. I used A/D ointment, changed him often, and gave him yogurt for his belly. The ear infection went away but the side effects lasted for quite awhile.

I don’t know what medical college you studied at, but this does not sound like normal practice. I would personally suggest you use yourself as a guinea-pig, rather than a small child. Otherwise you could get accused of malpractice.
