My son/daughter says that Worcester State Universitys recommended laptop is not powerful enough and wants us to order a more expensive model. What do you recommend?
The laptops recommended by Worcester State University represents a balance between computing power, portability, and battery life. Worcester State University strongly believes that the recommended laptop specifications are more than adequate for almost any user’s most ambitious or critical computing needs. Keep in mind that you will pay a significant price increase for a more “powerful” machine that will offer only slightly better performance. If your daughter/son is interested in upgrade options, consider adding more memory and/or a larger hard drive. These upgrades will offer more noticeable performance enhancements than purchasing a laptop with a faster CPU.
