She can claim Income Support to help support her and her child, also she will be entiltled to The Sure Start Maternity Grant which is £500 which helps towards buying things for the baby, like a pushchair and a cot and other things. She should apply to the local council to go onto thier council waiting list, when she has her own place she can claim housing benefit which will help pay for rent. She can get a part time job, whilst pregnant, to help put some money aside when baby is born, and to buy things for the baby. Then maybe when the baby is a couple of month old she could go back to work part-time, maybe this could be a time for aunties and uncles to help out! Also the CSA can chase the father for child matenince. Your sister can do it! It will be hard. It is a good thing that she does not want to abort the baby. There are people out there to help.
