Diarrhea is a sign of illness, so I would take your cat to the vet and get them to prescribe you something rather then buying your own medication. Diarrhea is usually caused from your cat eating the wrong type of food, usually one that has a high fat content, your cat might be allergic to it, a change in their food can cause stress which leads to diarrhea. It can also be caused by hairballs (you can buy food in your supermarket that has a furball preventative in it). Foreign chemicals can cause diarrhea as a side effect. It could also be a symptom of an illness such as a infection, or liver/kidney/bowel disease, pancreasitis, and colitis.
