My shipping confirmation e-mail is showing the wrong tracking URL?
In some cases we’re able to detect the shipping company based on the tracking number, as they generally use a specific algorithm or sequence of numbers that are unique to that company. We currently have detections for the following shipping companies: • Canada Post • Post Danmark • FedEx • UPS • USPS • DHL • Royal Mail When a shipping company can not be detected, we provide a link to Google to attempt to find the shipping company, as Google can sometimes detect algorithms for a company not known to Shopify. Occasionally, the algorithms used by unknown companies are similar enough to a known company that it provides an incorrect URL, a false positive. If you have reports of this happening with your shipping confirmation e-mails and tracking numbers, you can modify your shipping confirmation e-mail to correct for this. To do so, log into your store admin and locate the Preferences and E-mail & Notifications On the left, select the Shipping confirmation template, this will open an editor.
