My server (RaQ 3 servers and lower) didn come with PHP, MySQL, ASP, or some other software technology that I need. How do I get the software that I need?
Disclaimer: Add on software is not officially supported for dedicated servers. Install software at your own risk and expense. RaQ 4i servers and better come with PHP, ASP, and InterBase’s Sybase database built in. RaQ 3 servers and lower will need to have software installed to use those features. RaQ 2 and RaQ 1 servers do not support ASP. PHP and MySQL are free to download, install, and use. You can check ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/ to see if there is a pre-compiled version available or you can download them from http://www.php3.org and http://www.mysql.com, respectively. For ASP support, you’ll need ChiliSoft ASP. It is only available for the RaQ 3. You can purchase a copy at http://www.chilisoft.com . Due to licensing restrictions, we cannot pre-install it on the RaQ 3. ASP is RAM intensive, so you may need to upgrade your server with additional RAM to be able to effectively use it.
