My school cannot afford to send students to MTC events. Are there any discounted or free tickets available?
Thanks to a generous donation from The Sidney Myer Fund on behalf of one of MTC’s supporters, Mr Geoffrey Cohen AM, we are able to provide a number of free Mainstage or Education event tickets each year. These tickets will be allocated to a limited number of schools for distribution to students who would otherwise not be able to attend an MTC event for reasons of economic disadvantage. If your school has students in this situation and you would like to register for consideration in 2009, please e-mail Suzie Thomas at education@mtc.com.au with the relevant details, or fax on 03 9696 2627. MTC will select the school groups based on the information you provide to us. E-mails and faxes of around 250 words are sufficient. As a guideline, around thirty tickets will be offered per school to attend one performance or workshop.
