If your battery is approaching the end of its life (1.1 V or lower), the reduced voltage can cause your sensor to skew the timestamps for your reading. You can easily check your battery voltage by following the steps in this FAQ. Back to top » • I accidentally stopped my sensor before 24 hours passed on my Recommend reading. When I realized this after an hour or so, I then turned it back on for the remaining hours. Will this affect my reading? Our recommendation algorithms are optimized for an uninterrupted 24-hour reading. Unfortunately, an interrupted reading can result in skewed data, which affects the reliability of your plant recommendation results. We hope to fix this to adjust for skewed data in the coming months. In the meantime, however, if your reading is accidentally interrupted we strongly recommend that you simply start the reading again and allow it to collect data for another 24 hours.
