My rabbit is 2 days pregnant. how long intill she starts getting fatter?
When rabbits are pregnant they don’t usually get very fat. Rabbits gestation period is 28-32 days long. Most rabbits will give birth on the 31st day. Give her a nest box filled with hay on the 27th or the 28th day. She will pull fur and build a nest. If you have the dad in the same cage with her right now take him out ASAP! Rabbits can carry two litters at a time. Just because they can it is not good for them at all. When she gives birth with the first litter the second litter usually dies, sometimes the first litter will not make it either. If you have any more questions please feel free to e-mail me.
