I would take her to the vet. Blood in the stool could be a sign of a perferated intestine. That could be bad. It could, however also heal on its own, but why take the chance. The thing is, a piece of wood will not show up on an xray, so i am not sure what the vet could do besides wait it out or exploratory surgery. If the stomach was perferated the blood would not be red, it would have been exposed to stomach acid and have turned a tarry brown color. So, call another vet for a 2nd opinion then take her in.
