My pumps driver is blinking, what do the different LED error codes indicate?
The LED error codes displayed on your Wave Driver indicate various different conditions which may be affecting your pump. The VorTech pumps use smart technology to determine a problem before it damages the motor or circuitry and the driver automatically shuts things down in order to protect your investment. The indicated LED error code tells you what problem may have occurred. Flashing Red – a pump disconnect condition has occurred. If this is a false-error, please check here for more information. Flashing Red/Orange – the microprocessor senses an issue with the motor’s wiring and has shut the motor down to prevent further damage. Contact EcoTech Tech Support directly for assistance. Flashing Red/Yellow – the microprocessor senses that the motor is running too hot and has shut the motor down to prevent any damage. Check to make sure that the wet side of the pump is cleaned and functional and that the dry side magnet is not rubbing against the pin spacer or gasket. Flashing Red/Green –
