My provider already supports compression. What use is SaferSurf Speed for me?
There are different types of compression. The compression supported by your provider is probably V.42bis or MNP5 for analogue modems. This method only works at the lowest level. It only compresses very small data packages. SaferSurf Speed on the other hand compresses the entire requested file including text and pictures.
