Even within the three image formats (.gif, .jpg, .png) there are many sub-formats (interlaced/non-interlaced, indexed palette/24-bit palette, various compression levels, etc) and sometimes they just don’t work. We are working to accommodate more image formats. After uploading your photo or avatar, your computer’s browser “cache” (storage) will need to clear in order to see it. You can clear your cache by clicking “Tools” at the top of your browser page and following the instructions.
