A. Potentilla are susceptible to few leaf spot diseases and mildew but rarely are they a serious threat to the plant. Potentilla should thrive in sun to light shade. Many flowering shrubs become less vigorous and ragged as they become overgrown. Pruning may help to rejuvenate it.
