My Poolkeeper makes a noise while adding water to the pool. Is this normal?

Poolkeeper is equipped with a patented ball valve/anti-siphon device that works in conjunction with the float assembly to add water to your pool. Water flow through this valve will cause the unit to make a sound. This is normal and lets you know Poolkeeper is doing its job.
