We don’t know the reason, but WINDOWS 95 logs the PhotoDoc installation as KAI’S POWER GOO in the Control Panel, Add / Remove Programs window. Selecting this KAI’S POWER GOO entry automatically removes all of the PhotoDoc Software programs (just as though you selected Start, Program, Kodak PhotoDoc, and Un-install All PhotoDoc Files). To un-install the KAI’S POWER GOO Software package, completely un-install the PhotoDoc Software and then perform a custom installation. • Why can’t I view the contents of the CD-ROM? Once you’ve installed the software, you can only view the contents of the CD-ROM using Explorer in WINDOWS 95. This is a precaution so that the installer program for the scanner does not start again if you insert the CD-ROM into your computer. • Why can’t I use the Scan/E-mail feature of the Launcher utility? As stated in the User’s Guide, your computer must have a MAPI compliant e-mail application installed on it in order to use the Scan/E-mail feature. At present, only MICR
