My phone is less than a year old, isnt my battery covered under warranty?
Phones and batteries do have a 1-year manufacturer warranty. The Battery Swap program is different–it goes beyond what is covered by manufacturer warranty. For example , you can swap for a fully charged battery simply because you are away from home and need a battery with a full charge to get through the rest of your day, not just because your current battery won’t hold a charge any longer. You can also swap for a fully charged battery more than once as long as your phone is eligible for the Battery Swap program, which goes beyond a 1 year warranty from date of purchase.
