My period is 7 days late but pregnancy test is negative. Can i still be pregnant?
Unless you are doing the test all wrong, it is not statistically likely that 5 times out of 5 reading negative is incorrect. I’m really really sorry to say that to you. I will also say that most things about pregnancy involve waiting for months “in the dark” about what is going on, so you may as well get used to the idea right from the beginning. You need to wait a little bit longer and do another test, but please bear in mind that your symptoms could be illness rather than pregnancy. You are obviously very stressed out, that in itself can stop your periods and mess your hormones up. Go see the doctor, make sure you’re not ill. Also, give yourself a break from trying to conceive for a while. Make sure your whole relationship and love life dont get swamped by trying. You will need to be very strong with your partner when you do get pregnant, so put the time into the quality of your relationship. Maybe even go on holiday. Then start again when you get back.
